6th Precinct - Map
The 6th Precinct is triangularly shaped with Marion Road acting as the hypotenuse. Watch the map carefully as it gets pretty twisty as it passes through some of these residential streets.

Polling Location: Christ Lutheran Church, 2904 20th St SE (I know........that's in the 7th Precinct, and the fine people from the 7th have to vote in the 5th, but I checked, and that's the way it is this year.)

My Background is one of an old school local businessman, who believes in making "Civil Service" a part of his life. At one time, the Barlow Corporation had more employees than are currently employed by the City, a larger annual budget than currently used by the City, and more customers in a week than read the Rochester Post-Bulletin. I ran a successful United Way Campaign a few years ago. I helped get the Channel One Food Shelves off the ground (and was recognized as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Minnesotans by the Minnesota JayCees for the effort). I also coordinated much of the last remodel as a Board Member of the Rochester Civic Theater. Recently as I was scouting for a new service activity, it was suggested that I could best serve the people in my community by filing for public office. If I was willing to stick my neck out, I would be able to add some welcome perspective and experience to the Council.
